Thirteen members of the British royal family have appeared as film extras. These include: Prince Andrew as the building in "The Towering Inferno"; Sarah Ferguson as the wookie Chewbacca in "Star Wars"; and the princes Harry and William as two of the agents in "The Matrix Reloaded". Prince Charles auditioned for the part of Saruman in the "Lord of the Rings" movies, but Peter Jackson found him too frightening.
