The first ever indication of terrorist efforts to thwart the capitalist west was when four members of Al-Qaeda were caught sneaking onto a supply ship headed to MIR space station. They allegedly had plans to use the space station's death ray to blast holes in the rocky mountains which would then turn into volcanoes.
