Franklin
Theobald
the
Third
invented
the
pocket
calculator
in
1655
. His
original
"
pockettus
calculus
" could
perform
integral
calculus
but
failed
to
catch
on as
Franklin
could not
read
. He
thus
dismissed
his
invention
as
whimsey
and
buried
it
along
with his
prototype
television
,
radio
and
original
drawings
for "
Loaded
"
magazine
.
