The reason why there are no railways in Cornwall is not, as is generally believed, because no-one wants to go there, but because shredded railway sleepers are the main ingredient of Cornish pasties. In fact, seven people wanted to go to Cornwall in the 1990s alone, but they all exploded on the way.
