The "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" series of movies was about a wacky scientist, played by Rick Moranis, whose children always fell victim to his experiments. Few are aware, however, that this series is actually based upon the true story of a wacky, Arizona-based inventor who was also played by Rick Moranis in real life.
