In last year's accident statistics compiled by ROSPA, the strangest deaths and injuries included: seven people in Wales died of hammock accidents in June; four priests choked fatally on matchbox-sized action figures of Ken Livingstone; two lives claimed by walrus attacks in Stepney; and one man dead after an explosion in a cutlery factory which left him impaled by fish knives against a number 7 bus.
