The
sugary

worms

actually
sugar
. The
sweet
powder
is
created
by
drying
and
crushing
up a
rare
species
of
West
African
river
worms
,
gummidanum
annelida
. The
powder
produced
is then
dyed
white
to
remove
any
trace
of the
natural
purple
color
of these
worms
.
