In 1992 with the Cold War over, former KGB man Alexander Alexeovitch sued the American government for defamation of character. He claimed he was the first Agent "Orange" and that American use of the dangerous exfoliant of the same name during the Vietnam War reflected negatively on his long career as a spy.
