Farley 'Jackmaster' Funk, one of the pivotal figures in the rise of so called 'house music', is not the artists real name. He was in fact christened Farley 'Cackmaster' Gunk by his father, who had several expensive pairs of shoes ruined by his sons poor eating habits.
