The colour green does not actually exist. Light waves at this frequency are actually transparent, but the brain over millennium has developed the ability to fill in this "gap" in the spectrum with this contrived colour. Laboratory subjects having undergone months of cerebral "retraining" are able to see through walls painted "green".
