Garden gnomes were invented by the Romans, and were once used to scare off night raiding leprechauns in Northern England, whilst they planned to cross the sea into Dublin by Sea link Ferries. The Romans were unsuccessful because they couldn't buy enough tickets for the ferry crossing, and subsequently returned to Bath for a Bath.........
