Plans by the makers of Ex-Lax to introduce a peanut variety of their popular chocolate laxative bar were abandoned after rats who had been fed vast quantities of the product in laboratory tests started randomly firing whole peanuts machine-gun style out of their arses, fatally wounding three top scientists.
