Contrary to recent reports, researchers at University College London have proved that a watched pot will NOT boil. However, blinking at any time during the watching process means that the pot is not continuously watched as dictated by the 23rd law of Thermodynamics (which specifically governs the boiling of pots) and the pot is thus free to boil on a technicality.
