Recent excavations at archaeological sites in Europe and Mesopotamia have proved that Cro-Magnon man spent an inordinate amount of time on his hair. So much of this early human's day was devoted to combing, brushing, styling, and primping that there was simply no time left to attend to gathering food, etc. Thus was Cro-Magnon man supplanted by the less well-coiffed, but better fed, Neanderthal man.
