Recent
excavations
at
archaeological
sites
in
Europe
and
Mesopotamia
have
proved
that
Cro
-
Magnon
man
spent
an
inordinate
amount
of
time
on his
hair
. So much of this
early
human
'
s
day
was
devoted
to
combing
,
brushing
,
styling
, and
primping
that there was
simply
no
time
left
to
attend
to
gathering
food
,
etc
.
Thus
was
Cro
-
Magnon
man
supplanted
by the
less
well
-
coiffed
, but
better
fed
,
Neanderthal
man
.
