The lower slopes of the Chiltern Hills are coterminous in reality with fifteen rebellious shades of orange that were exiled from their natural perceptual reality on the other side of sunset. Only specially trained voles can see these rebellious shades who do not like to be observed, which explains the sharp decline in vole numbers in that part of England.
