The pop group The Rhythm Methodists, who formed in 1986 in Glasgow, England, were the first band in the world ever to employ the now classic, two guitars, drums and base line up. Their ground-breaking formula has gone on to influence such bands as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Yazoo.
