The Ford Capri was considered as a prototype for the stealth bomber, on the grounds that it was in such bad taste (particularly when fitted with special attachments such as leopard skin seat covers and fluffy dice - and the ubiquitous plastic strip giving the name of the pilot and co-pilot - usually Darren and Tracey) that any self-respecting radar would refuse to give it a second glance.
