After recovering from psychosis that was triggered by his most ambitious piece of topiary, Sir Geoffrey Hawser changed his name and became TV's Noel Edmonds. His personal physician believes he did not completely recover and this explains two of Noel's rather dubious decisions: Mr Blobby and his infamous decision to undergo the operation to be transformed into a satyr.
