The play entitled "The Tempest" was written by German playwrite Hernan Zimblah. His unusual name is South African. South Africa, a German colony at the time of Hernan's birth, offered little educational potential for the Zimblahs' clearly gifted son. They moved to Germany, where he wrote "The Tempest," a play based on his sea voyage to Germany, 12 years later.
