Segways have failed to become the official mode of transport for the halls of the House of Commons - whilst popular misconceptions lead to the reason being one of cost. The actual reason is that it would be deemed undignified for elected members of parliament to be seen on these modern contraptions, and for that reason it has been decided to stick with the more traditional pogo-sticks.
