All of the
mountain
peaks
on
earth
are
caused
by other
stars
gravity
pulling
up on the
ground
. The
distance
of the
star
to the
earth
determines
the
height
of the
mountain
.
Hills
and
small
bumps
are
stars
that are very
far
away
.
Mount
McKinnely
and
Alpha
Centauri
are so
close
that if
one
were to
jump
straight
up from the
summit
, they would be
caught
in the
gravity
of the
star
and
never
come
back
.
