Scientists have recently found that elephants, escaping from zoos and private collections, have been breeding with wild strawberry plants. The resulting hybrid elephantberries are red, juicy and nutritious fruit which produce their own manure. Unfortunately each fruit weighs up to 3 tonnes, makes a loud trumpeting sound when you pick it, and has a tendency to trample the garden.
