Labour
economists
have
calculated
that
Glaswegian
tramps
collect
over £
10bn
for "
cups
of
tea
" on the
streets
of
London
each
year
.
However
, their
concern
arises
because all the
cafes
and
coffee
shops
in
London
only
show
annual
takings
of between £
2
-
3
bn
. The
Government
is
going
to
crack
down on these
undeclared
earnings
and
tax
these
outlets
more
heavily
. On the
flip
side
however
, off-
licenses
in the
area
are
showing
strong
trading
figures
.
